What Our Clients Say

Your venue is excellent and for us as a very small organisation with no physical office it was great to find somewhere neutral in a business environment where we could discuss the future planning of our business. The lunch was superb and far exceeded expectations and we are very grateful for the nice touch in that it was served in the room that we hired.

I initially approached Palvinder on the 8th August 2014, by telephone, with the task of supplying Skymark with an Administrative Apprentice. We had a very short deadline on the placement after a long serving member of staff left the business and we had a short term cover in place. Palvinder took on board our specific requirements and within an hour of our meeting, we were supplied with the CVs. As you can see from the timescales, this was an exceptional effort on the Colleges part. They immediately grasped the urgency of our situation and offered us three viable alternatives to fulfil our requirements. Lucy has settled immediately into our environment and is already making her mark. I am delighted with the service that we have received from the College and look forward to conducting more business with them in the future.’ To read the full story, please see our 'News' page.

The service from North Lindsey College has been excellent. The response from the college from our first enquiry was rapid and a meeting was set up. All information was given to us and we very quickly had the names of some applicants ready to interview. The whole process was made very simple and the staff have been very friendly and helpful, especially Palvinder Salhan and Karen Hughes. The 2 apprentices have fitted into the team really well and have been a tremendous help with all aspects of our service.

The Business Development Officer from North Lindsey College was excellent. She completely understood our business needs and arranged the training to fit into those needs whilst also helping us to find an excellent candidate. Singleton Birch decided to take on an apprentice as a mutually beneficial arrangement, whereby a totally inexperienced young person can gain the skills with which to pursue a career whilst receiving training through North Lindsey College and on the job working with very experienced staff.

Colin Guthrie, Senior Business Consultant for Kingsway Training Ltd has been working with Harsco Metals for a number of years. In December, Colin visited Harsco Metals premises on the Tata Steel Rotherham works to present the Professional Award in Continuous Business Improvement Certificate to one student, Richard Townsend. Richard was one of Colin’s students who attended the Professional Award in Continuous Business Improvement at Kingsway Training over a period of eight months during which time he developed his skills in Leadership, Problem Solving, Communications and Management of Change. Richard’s final piece of work was an investigation into re-structuring the shift pattern for the Melt Shop teams. The External Examiner from the University of Hull noted that his Work Based Improvement project had proved to be a careful and well-structured analysis that would have a positive impact upon Harsco's operation. Following the presentation, Richard informed Colin that his proposals, produced during the course, had been fully implemented and were already contributing to business performance. Colin Guthrie, commented, “Seeing the impact of these new skills on practicing managers is enormously rewarding”.

"Very informative, puts things into perspective and makes you look at things in a different way".

- Team Working training

Really enjoyed the course. Great trainer made everything casual and was able to take all the information in and retain it. It has been very beneficial to me. Smaller groups were great too so everyone felt they had something to add.
